This Ornellaia Bolgheri Superiore is a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It's aged 18 months in mostly new French oak barrels, which adds gentle vanilla and spice. Expect a rich, smooth wine with blackcurrant, plum and cherry and a fresh finish.
Decant it for steak, roast lamb or aged cheese. It suits red wine lovers marking a special occasion or building a cellar.
