This outstanding Chablis is crisp, complex, and expressive, featuring notes of oak, minerals, honey, citrus, and butter. It reveals flavors of peach, flint, lemon, stone, vanilla, apple, apricot, and white peach, along with hints of cheese and tropical fruits. Additional nuances include chamomile, grass, smoke, gun smoke, caramel, baking spices, orange zest, lemon pith, grapefruit, mandarin orange, and orange melon. Stone fruit notes of nectarine and quince are complemented by oil, cream, nutty pineapple, lemongrass, honeysuckle, and even a touch of cotton candy.
