Two parcels—Haut Chapelot and Montée de Tonnerre itself—contribute to Samuel Billaud Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre 2022. This Chardonnay is partly matured in large, 600-litre oak barrels, with 25% receiving this treatment to add subtle richness without making oak the dominant feature.
