A 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot blend from Tenuta San Guido's Bolgheri vineyards, this wine ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel without added yeasts before 15 months maturation in French and American oak barriques, one-third new.
Mediterranean herbs, cassis and black cherry lead the nose, layered with leather and earthy depth. Full-bodied with velvety, slightly sandy tannins, refreshing acidity and a savory cedar finish, it's an accessible, polished introduction to Bolgheri's coastal Tuscany style.
