The Trimbach Muscat Réserve 2022 is a captivating expression of Alsace's most aromatic variety from one of the region's most revered family estates — a rigorous selection of 90% Muscat Ottonel and 10% Muscat d'Alsace from old vineyards in Ribeauvillé, vinified bone-dry in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation to preserve full aromatic intensity.
Critics
James Suckling praises Trimbach's Muscat for its "so fruity it almost gives the sensation of eating ripe peaches — with good grip to the very dry flavours of white peach, lemon, flowers and minerals".
Tasting Notes
The nose is arrestingly floral — lime blossom, honeysuckle, white peach and lemon peel. The palate is pure and vivid — ripe peach, ginger, crisp citrus and meadow flowers, finishing refreshingly dry with a lingering mineral grace.
