Deep, inky ruby color. Aromas of ripe dark fruits like blackberry, black cherry and prune intermingle with savory notes of leather, mushroom, garrigue and spice. Full-bodied with a silky, structured texture and firm tannins. Flavors echo the nose with layers of dark fruit, earth, herb and oak nuances. Excellent concentration and persistence on the long, savory finish. A complex, well-ripened wine showing freshness alongside mature tertiary characteristics.
