This Chardonnay offers a ripe, oaky profile with a fuller body compared to the Kumeu wine it was tasted alongside. The nose is herbal and fragrant, with prominent toasty oak. On the palate, it shows ripe yellow fruit, a creamy texture, and abundant toasty spices on the finish. While the reviewer preferred the Kumeu, the second review describes an intense, layered Chardonnay with freshness and tension.
