Champagne Ployez-Jacquemart, founded in 1930 by Marcel Ployez and Yvonne Jacquemart, is located in Ludes in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Despite being one of the smallest Champagne producers, the winery operates a 3-hectare vineyard primarily planted with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, classified as Premier and Grand Cru. Known for their meticulous winemaking practices, Ployez-Jacquemart emphasizes quality over quantity, producing around 100,000 bottles annually.
Currently owned by the Prieux Group, the winery is still managed by Laurence Ployez, the third generation of the family. She upholds traditional methods like hand-picking and extended aging in chalk cellars, ensuring exceptional quality and elegance in their Champagnes. Favored by connoisseurs, their wines express a natural balance of minerality and acidity, reflecting the rich heritage of the Champagne terroir.
