This cult-favorite Chardonnay, from 10-year-old vines at 2,700m altitude, exemplifies Yunnan's high-altitude potential. The 2022 vintage (14 months in 40% new French oak) opens with vibrant citrus, white flowers, and subtle brioche. The palate balances rich texture with electric acidity and stony minerality, finishing with honeysuckle and preserved lemon notes.
While production has grown slightly (from just 500 bottles in 2020 to over 1,000 in 2022), each release remains extraordinarily rare. The extended 2022 harvest (mid-Sept to mid-Oct) yielded exceptional concentration, capturing Puligny-Montrachet's precision with Yunnan's distinctive mountain freshness. A collector's dream with 5-7 years aging potential.
