Benoit is a new-generation winemaker who has been releasing vintages under his own label for about two years. He hails from the same family as Vincent Girardin, renowned for his exceptional Meursaults. This cru vineyard features clay-rich soils with a high iron content, similar to the Côte de Nuits. The wine presents notes of blueberries, liquorice, a hint of pine cones, and cedar. It possesses good structure, being fairly firm yet rounded with fine acidity, leading to a very pleasant finish.
