Chapter and Verse Reserve Chardonnay 2017

Deep lemon yellow, almost golden in appearance. On the nose, this wine has developed well: it still has a rich Chardonnay fruit core (lemon peel, red apple, peach), combined with toasted oak and some三级honey and hazelnut, all of which blend well together. The 2017 Reserve Chardonnay is full-bodied in taste, with that rich fruit core supported by some lively acidity and quite good high alcohol content. There is also a considerable amount of creaminess in the mouth. The taste of diacetyl (caramel) does not overpower the other flavors. However, this wine has undoubtedly matured completely and should be consumed soon. I would like to see what the younger vintages of these wines are like (I tried the 2018 last year). Let's see what the more recent vintages will bring.
