Sourced from 4 hectares of organic, southeast-facing vineyards at 320 meters elevation, the vines thrive in gallestro-rich marl and limestone soils that impart distinctive mineral character. Crafted from 100% Sangiovese, the wine undergoes 22-24 days of maceration in steel vats before aging 36-40 months in traditional Slavonian oak casks, followed by extended bottle aging.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections, the bouquet reveals balsamic and floral notes layered with aromas of black pepper, currants, dried raspberry, candied cherry, and earthy tones of baked clay. Brawny and concentrated, the palate delivers leather, camphor, scorched earth, and sandalwood with delicate balance, soft velvety tannins, and savory mineral notes.
