Leeuwin Estate, a Margaret River pioneer since 1973, crafts this poised Australia Chardonnay from select parcels. Wild and cultured yeasts ferment the juice in French oak, followed by 10 months’ maturation for layered texture and subtle savoury depth.
Wine Advocate praises its “clarity of acidity, length of flavor and weightless power.” Lemon curd, pink grapefruit, pear and nectarine meet flint, sea salt and fine brioche. Focused yet generous, with a long saline finish.
