Since its founding in 1932 by visionary winemaker Isaac Muga Martínez, Muga Winery has been crafting elegant, artisan-style Rioja wines with unwavering dedication to tradition and quality. As one of Rioja’s most prestigious producers, Muga is renowned for its meticulous aging process and handcrafted oak barrels from its own cooperage, using both French and American oak. They are the only cellar in Spain with a master cooper and three in-house barrel-makers.
