Louis Roederer Collection 246 Champagne earned outstanding acclaim with 93 points from Antonio Galloni (Vinous), James Suckling, and Wine Spectator. This is the House's 246th blend since its 1776 founding, combining 54% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 11% Meunier with 55% from the 2021 harvest and 35% Perpetual Reserve dating back to 2012.
Perpetual Reserve & Oak Aging
The unique blend includes a Perpetual Reserve spanning nine vintages plus 10% oak-aged wines from young Cristal vines, creating exceptional depth and complexity.
Yellow Fruit & Chalky Elegance
Bright luminous gold reveals yellow fruits—mirabelle plum, nectarine—candied lemon, and toasted vanilla from 24% oak fermentation. Fine reductive shellfish notes create chiselled Chardonnay character. The palate is light, delicate, and creamy with white peach, pollen, orchard fruit, mint, and white pepper. Soft bubbles create mouth-watering savoury chalk sensations with a fresh, powdery, vibrant texture. Brisk saline notes and smoky finish from the Perpetual Reserve.
