This richly hued rosé blends 30% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier, and 50% Pinot Noir sourced from 36 premier crus, including 15% still red wine from the esteemed Riceys and Montagne de Reims regions. Based on the 2018 vintage with 30% reserve wines for added complexity, it was disgorged in 2022 and bottled at a balanced 9 g/L dosage. The higher Pinot Noir proportion not only enhances structure but also helps protect against light strike—a key consideration for rosé Champagnes in clear glass. On the palate, vibrant strawberry and tart raspberry mingle with subtle brioche notes, while finely grippy tannins add texture, leading to a crisp, mineral-driven finish with hints of rhubarb and stony freshness.
