Château Climens is one of the most revered estates in Barsac, Bordeaux, celebrated for its exquisite sweet white wines made from 100% Sémillon. Often referred to as the "Lord of Barsac" (alongside Château d'Yquem in Sauternes), Climens produces some of the world’s most complex, elegant, and age-worthy botrytized wines. The name "Climens" derives from an old Gascon word meaning "unfertile, poor land".
