杜哈米隆城堡
Named after the Sieur de Duhart, a pirate-turned-vineyard-owner (legend claims he retired in Pauillac), it is originally part of Château Lafite’s vineyards until separated post-French Revolution. The vineyard contains deep Gunzian gravel with iron-rich subsoil – ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon’s structure. The wines are fermented in stainless steel and oak vats with gentle extraction, with extended maceration (up to 30 days) for depth without harshness. Finally, it is aged for 14–16 months in French oak (40–50% new) for balanced integration.
