Domaine de Trevallon

A Hidden Masterpiece in Coteaux de Beaux

Domaine de Trévallon is a renowned wine estate located in the Alpilles region of Provence, in the south of France. It was founded in 1973 by Eloi Dürrbach, a visionary winemaker who played a key role in elevating the reputation of Provençal wines beyond simple rosés. Originally classified as a Vin de Pays (country wine) due to its Cabernet Sauvignon content (not traditional in Provence), Trévallon gained cult status despite regulatory hurdles. Since the 2010s, the estate has been officially recognized under the Les Baux-de-Provence AOC, though Dürrbach initially resisted the change to maintain his unique style. Today, Eloi’s children, Ostiane and Antoine Dürrbach, continue the legacy, maintaining the estate’s commitment to quality and tradition.
