Gérard Mugneret

Founded in the late 1960s by René Mugneret and later steered by his son Gérard, this family-owned estate in Vosne-Romanée is now helmed by Pascal Mugneret, who combines traditional Burgundian craftsmanship with organic and biodynamic farming (uncertified). Spanning 8.5 hectares across the Côte d’Or, the domaine cultivates prestigious plots, including five Premier Crus (Les Suchots and Les Brulées in Vosne-Romanée, Les Charmes in Chambolle-Musigny, Les Boudots in Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Les Gravains in Savigny-lès-Beaune) and a crown jewel—Échezeaux Grand Cru from the Les Quartiers de Nuits climat. Pascal’s winemaking emphasizes whole-cluster fermentation (up to 100% in warm vintages), minimal sulfur (≤20 ppm), and aging in French oak (10–50% new) to craft wines of elegance, terroir transparency, and aging potential. The portfolio ranges from vibrant Bourgogne Rouge to Grand Cru benchmarks, all reflecting Vosne’s signature spice, floral notes, and silky texture—ideal for collectors and enthusiasts seeking authentic, soulful Burgundy.
