An 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Sémillon blend, Jonata La Flor de Jonata 2022 comes from the estate’s sandy vineyard in Ballard Canyon. The producer describes fine-grained tannins alongside bracing acidity, giving this white a structural dimension beyond its fruit.
Scoring it 94 points, Jeb Dunnuck writes: “Rocking Bordeaux Blanc-like notes of crushed citrus, pineapple, honeyed flower, and sweet mint all emerge from the 2022 Flor”. His review describes a medium-bodied, concentrated wine with balanced acidity, clear fruit flavours and a lingering finish.
