Las Veletas corresponds to a traditional, old property located on the dry area of San Javier where for many years vineyards have had país, carignan stocks, and blends of other red varieties. Under that premise, we have worked to recover the old stocks and develop new vineyards of more traditional stocks. All this work, driven by the owner Raúl Dell’Oro, who after several years working the land went into partnership with the renowned enologist Rafael Tirado in order to develop the winery project Las Veletas.

The project started as something for family and friends, only driven by the pleasure of making good wine. The complete freedom to make mistakes and experiments was the perfect cradle to let imagination fly free and get a totally different result, as these wines were born with the sole objective of being enjoyed at home, drinking a toast and sharing, with production batches of low quantities but top quality.
