Born in Cumières and reborn in Épernay, Leclerc Briant has defied Champagne traditions since its founding—first as a small estate, then as a visionary Maison de Négoce. Apart from their biodynamic certifications and single-vineyard focus, they are extremely innovative in ageing, such that some cuvées are aged in oak barrels, amphorae, and even underwater (i.e. their "Abyss" Champagne, aged at the bottom of the ocean!).Today, under the stewardship of passionate owners and Frédéric Zeimett, this house crafts bold, biodynamic champagnes that challenge conventions while earning global acclaim.
