Max Richter Himmelreich Kabinett Trocken 2023 takes its name from the "Kingdom of Heaven"—a Premier Cru-level vineyard site in Graach renowned for producing truly heavenly wines. The Himmelreich surrounds the Grand Cru Dompropst vineyard, benefiting from excellent southwestern exposure and fertile alluvial deposits from ancient Mosel River flows.
Distinctive Grey Slate Terroir
This dry-style Kabinett showcases grey slate soils enriched with clay and mineral deposits that create vigorous, mouth-filling wines with luscious mineral complexity. The 80-100 year old, ungrafted vines root directly at the top of the Himmelreich site, where weathered blue-grey slate imparts characteristic flinty minerality.
