Pichler family was making wines already in 18th Century in Wosendorf village and nearby, and Rudi took over in 1997 giving his footprint; authentic wines, with their identity defined by the various soils, the age of the vines, vineyard exposition and the micro-climate, are the result. To identify and know the specifics of the different sites, to work with them, and to preserve and protect them, are what motivate Rudi Pichler, all following organic farming and traditional methods (natural yeasts, no filtration) even though in a modern cellar.
