This bold and intense Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the Western Cape region of South Africa. It boasts a deep, dark ruby color and an aromatic profile that sits at the high end of the Cabernet Sauvignon spectrum. Expect a rich mix of bramble berries, raspberries, cherries, and plums, complemented by hints of tobacco and a smoky, earthy essence. This wine includes a minor blend of Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc, making up 14% of the mix, with the remaining 86% being Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels, it features silky tannins, a slight dryness with an acidic edge, and a soft, smooth mouthfeel.
