89-91 pts (Jasper Morris MW) — Albert Bichot Domaine du Clos Frantin Gevrey-Chambertin 'Les Murots' 2022 is a pure, sauvage-scented Pinot Noir from a uniquely drained Climat at the foot of the Lavaux valley - scree and gravel soils that force vines deep for excellent fruit ripening and natural concentration. Hand-picked, macerated 18–21 days in thermoregulated oak vats, then aged 14–16 months in French barrels (30–35% new).
Rich and inviting on the nose - raspberry, blackcurrant, floral top notes, deft oak and spice. Juicy and plump on the palate - velvety texture, fine tannins, bright acidity and a long, fruit-echoed finish that rewards cellaring through 2032+.
