90 pts (Wine Spectator) - Albert Bichot Domaine du Clos Frantin Vosne-Romanée 2022 is a benchmark Burgundy village wine from one of the Côte de Nuits' most storied estates, sourced from the Damaudes and Maizières Climats on predominantly limestone-based soils. Hand-picked, sorted at the winery, macerated in thermoregulated wooden vats for 18–21 days, then aged 14–16 months in French oak (25–35% new).
Elegant and lacy on the nose - cherry, cranberry, tobacco, dried herbs and warm spice. The palate is velvety and full-bodied - silky tannins, red and black fruit, cedar and a long, flavourful finish. Best from 2026 through 2042.
