Bruno Giacosa Barbera d’Alba 2022 comes from vines around 30 years old and spends 14 months ageing in oak. Alongside the producer’s Barolo wines, this bottling offers a different expression of Piedmont, centred on Barbera’s naturally lively acidity.
Cherry, plum and forest berries lead the aromas, with a balanced, energetic palate rather than a heavily tannic profile. The fruit remains the focus, while a fresh, mouth-watering finish gives definition to the wine’s generous flavours.
