Founded in 1967 in Greve, Carpineto ferments this 80% Sangiovese Chianti Classico Riserva in temperature-controlled tanks with indigenous yeast, aged minimum 12 months in Slavonian and French oak, then 10 months in bottle before release.
- Nose: Raspberry, vanilla, black cherry, graphite, and dried herbs — elegant, persistent, and classically Chianti
- Palate: Full-bodied and velvety — ripe cherry, blackberry, orange oil, dusty tannins, and vivid acidity
- Finish: Long and generous — liquorice, black pepper, and warm spice; best through 2030
