From one of Chambolle-Musigny's most respected fifth-generation estates, Domaine Anne et Hervé Sigaut Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2020 is a thrilling expression of Morey-Saint-Denis' most celebrated Grand Cru — 100% Pinot Noir from a tiny parcel, hand-harvested and vinified with minimal intervention to let the storied limestone-rich terroir speak.
Aged in carefully selected old Burgundian oak, destemmed and gently extracted — the Sigaut hallmark of precision and restraint fully on display. The nose is complex and seductive — ripe black cherry, violet, crushed stone and sous-bois with a whisper of spice. The palate is silky yet structured — red plum, blackcurrant, cedar and fine, powdery tannins converging on a gloriously long, mineral Clos de la Roche finish.
