This Arbois Chardonnay from the Jura comes from several nearby plots. The grapes are pressed whole, then age 18 months in used barrels, which adds texture without oak flavour. Expect lime, green apple and orchard fruit, with a wet-stone freshness.
Serve it chilled with seafood, asparagus or Comté. It suits Chardonnay lovers who prefer a lean, mineral style to a rich, buttery one.
