Grapefruit and gentle smoky aromas lead Domaine Dirler-Cadé Élément Eau Riesling Saering 2021. This dry Alsace Riesling puts citrus at the centre of its character, with a restrained smoky accent rather than overtly sweet fruit.
Saering’s marl, limestone and sandstone soils distinguish this Grand Cru within the estate’s range. The vineyard faces east and southeast, and Dirler-Cadé farms it biodynamically. Its Élément Eau designation identifies the wine with water in the domaine’s four-element collection.
