Founded in 1988 by Robert Drouhin, Domaine Drouhin Oregon crafts Laurène using Burgundian gravity-flow techniques, minimising pumping to preserve Pinot Noir's delicacy before ageing in French oak. Scoring 97 points from James Suckling, 94 from Vinous, and 93 from Wine Spectator, this Oregon icon opens with black cherry, blueberry, tobacco, damp earth, and garrigue — elegant and expressive from the first pour.
The palate is plush yet structured — ripe dark fruit, cedar, velvety tannins, and a long, mineral finish. Drink 2025–2035.
