Domaine Francois Buffet Clos des Chenes 2014 represents exceptional Francois Buffet wine from one of Volnay's most prestigious Premier Cru vineyards. This legendary site derives its name from an ancient oak species that disappeared centuries ago, and the Buffet family cultivates 1 hectare across three parcels featuring 45-80 year-old vines positioned throughout the vineyard—north and south, bottom and top. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown on chalky marl soils, the wine ages 18 months in French oak barrels, developing remarkable complexity and structure
