Fernand & Laurent Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes Rouge 2023 is a village-level Pinot Noir from 50-60 year-old vines, delivering Premier Cru depth and complexity.This historic family estate, now in its fourth and fifth generation, ferments for 18-21 days in open vats and ages 12-18 months in French oak without fining or filtration.
Deep ruby with aromas of Burlat cherries, red berries, and spice. The palate is unctuous and expressive, with silky tannins that benefit from 3-4 years cellaring. Pairs beautifully with côte de boeuf or lamb.
