The Sadie Family Kokerboom 2024 is a field blend of roughly 80% Semillon Blanc and 20% Semillon Gris, hand-harvested from old bush vines and fermented with native yeasts in a single old foudre for eight months before 12 months on lees.
Waxy, lanolin-driven aromas meet ginger spice and tropical granadilla, unusual for this vineyard. The palate turns rich and voluminous, carrying the most refined tannins yet from this site. This Citrusdal Mountain white suits drinkers seeking a powerful, textured South Africa Semillon with waxy richness balanced by tension.
