Les Charmes covers 30 hectares along Meursault's southern border with Puligny-Montrachet, where limestone and clay soils produce round, generous wines. David Moret Meursault Charmes 1er Cru 2024 follows his usual method: whole-bunch pressing, wild-yeast fermentation in French oak barrels and bottling without fining or filtration.
White flowers and white peach come with a hint of quince and toasted bread. The palate is concentrated and creamy, with fine, well-integrated oak and lively acidity that carries through this Burgundy white's finish.
