Ridge’s 2022 ‘Three Valleys’ Red is the most accessible way to experience the Ridge Vineyards style, blending fruit from multiple Sonoma sites into one expressive bottling. Earning 91 points each from Wine Enthusiast and Vinous.
A field-blend led by Zinfandel with Carignane, Petite Sirah, Mataro and Alicante Bouschet, it shows dark berry, raspberry bramble, anise, espresso and baking spice on the nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied, vibrant and polished, with blackberry, cherry, dark chocolate and white pepper carried by fresh acidity and fine, snappy tannins. Delicious now with grilled meats, pizza, or charcuterie, and capable of aging 5–10 years.
