Domaine Elodie Jaume Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cabrières 2021 is the debut vintage from this rising star, crafted from Grenache with touches of Mourvèdre and Syrah from old bush vines on sandy soils in the Cabrières plain. This wine showcases exceptional refinement and delicacy, redefining what Grenache can achieve in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Organic & Biodynamic with Zero Additives
Farmed organically and biodynamically with minimal sulfur and no chemical additives, this wine aged nearly two years in concrete eggs before bottling in summer 2023. Production is limited to fewer than 5,000 bottles annually.
Refined Cherry & Honeyed Layers
Medium-bodied, floral, and fresh with bright red raspberries and strawberries. The wine is refined, smooth, and elegant, packed full of cherry fruits and layers of flavor with a mild, almost honeyed edge. Surprisingly light yet undeniably powerful, it presents black fruits intertwined with hints of sweet spice and herbal notes. A pure expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir. Drink 2024-2028.
