Hand-picked at ultra-low yields of 2.5 tonnes per hectare, this wine rivals fine Burgundy through meticulous old-world techniques.
Textbook Winemaking
Whole bunch pressed fruit ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels (10% new) for 18 months, undergoing full malolactic fermentation on lees. The 2/3 Mendoza and 1/3 B95 clone blend is bottled without fining and minimal filtration, preserving maximum texture and complexity.
Distinctive Flinty Character
Aromas of lemon curd and toasted almond precede complex smoky, flint, toast, and biscuit notes derived from extended barrel contact. The palate delivers crisp, tight structure with pure saline minerality and slatey persistence—hallmarks of Dog Point Chardonnay. Pairs beautifully with scallops, white fish, poultry, and BBQ pork—cellaring potential through 2028+.
