Philippe Chavy's Meursault 1er Cru Charmes is sourced from biodynamically farmed vines planted in 1940 — positioned in one of Charmes' most coveted plots, delivering the archetype of rich, powerful yet refined Meursault 1er Cru character. The 2021 vintage, shaped by severe spring frost and a focused, precise growing season, produced wines of exceptional finesse praised by Inside Burgundy's Jasper Morris MW.
Pale gold in the glass, this Meursault opens with lemon curd, toasted hazelnut, and white peach — broad yet chiselled on the palate, with a long mineral finish of green almond and creamy elegance.
